3.1.4. Undo, Redo, Find

To reverse last step, use Undo function from the Edit menu or button on the Common toolbar or keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Z. To repeat last step, use Redo function from the Edit menu or button on the Common toolbar or keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Y.

Do one of following:

  1. Choose Undo command from the Edit menu.
  2. Choose Redo command from the Edit menu.

Now, the last change in text was successfully undone or redone.

To search for a word in the topic, use Find function from the Edit menu or button on the Common toolbar or keyboard shortcut Ctrl-F.

Follow this steps:

  1. Choose Find command from the Edit menu.
  2. Find dialog is displayed.
  3. Type into Find what box the word (or several) you are looking for.
  4. Check Match whole words only option if you want to search only for standalone words.
  5. Check Match case option if you want to search only for words with exactly same upper and lower case as you have typed.
  6. Select Direction of searching.
  7. Click Find Next, each next click will move you to next appearance of the searched string.
