3.2.2. Insert New Chapter

Insert a chapter is possible via book or chapter popup menu.

Follow this steps:

  1. Open an existing project with book, or create new book.
  2. a) Click on the book and then click right mouse button. Popup menu appears. Select Insert Chapter item. b) Click on existing chapter and then click right mouse button. Popup menu appears. Select Insert Chapter or Insert Chapter Before or Insert Chapter After item.
  3. The Chapter Title dialog appears (see figure bellow). Type in value.
  4. Click Insert button.

Now, new chapter has been successfully inserted.

Note

Command Insert Chapter always inserts chapter as a last child. Commands Insert Chapter Before or Insert Chapter After always inserts chapter as a previous or a next sibling.
