3.2.3. Insert New Topic

Insert a topic is possible via chapter or topic popup menu. Topic can be inserted only in the chapter.

Follow this steps:

  1. Open an existing project with book and at least one chapter, or create a new one.
  2. a) Click on the existing chapter and then click right mouse button. Popup menu appears. Select Insert Topic item. b) Click on the existing topic and then click mouse right button. Popup menu appears. Select Insert Topic Before or Insert Topic After item.
  3. The Topic Title dialog appears (see figure bellow). Type in value for Topic title.
  4. Click Insert button.

New topic has been successfully inserted. New empty topic (only with title) is displayed in topic editing area on the right side.

Note

Command Insert Topic inserts topic in the chapter always as a last child. Commands Insert Topic Before or Insert Topic After inserts topic always as a previous or a next sibling.
