To insert link or change existing link properties, click Link on the Element toolbar.

There are two different types of links:

Local link. If you want to make a local link to some other topic in the book (or anchor as well), select in table of content on left side desired topic or anchor inside a topic (represented by green arrow).
Web link. If you want to make link to world wide web, first click to radio button web link to make this option active. Then type down url address of website and link description.

Click Insert button.

Link appears in the topic text. If link is local, changing link description will not have any influence on output, because link description is generated automatically when output is created. In case of web link, link description will appear in output as it is in the text.

To change properties of existing link right click on it and select Edit from popup menu or press Link button on element toolbar, while cursor is on link description in the text. The same link properties dialog will appear with the highlighted local link or filled values of the web link.

To remove link right click on it and select Delete from popup menu or completely delete link description from the text.
